Aldeasa sell 100% biodegradable bags

Aldeasa 100% biodegradable bags distributed in Indian airports today after signing an agreement with Sphere, an industry group that specializes in the manufacturing sector from the plastic and the development of bioplastics. In addition, the total amount of profits that generate the sale of these bags will go to conservation projects of the seas.

Prior to list these bags made from potato starch, a simulation was carried out at the airport of Palma de Mallorca to test consumer acceptance. After selling over 90,000 units in two months - the funds raised has been earmarked for a project developed by WWF in Spain - it was decided to proceed with distribution to other Spanish airports.

According to Sphere in a statement said these figures reflected "the great environmental concern not only by citizens but also from companies begin to adapt their products to new European regulations."

Therefore, Sphera bags distributed in stores Aldeasa national airports of Madrid, Barcelona, Palma de Mallorca, Malaga, Alicante, Valencia, Sevilla, Reus, Girona, Jerez, Ibiza, Mahon and Almeria. In the future, the company also expected to be available in Santiago de Compostela, Ciudad Real, Bilbao and at airports in the Canary Islands.
